Tech Greek Alumni Challenge

Tuesday, May 10th, 2011

Greek alumni are being challenged to increase their giving rate to Georgia Tech’s annual Roll Call. The fraternity and sorority chapters with the highest percentage of participation among their alumni will earn up to $5,000 from the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.

At the conclusion of the current 64th Annual Roll Call (which ends on June 30), the three fraternities and three sororities with the highest percentage of alumni who have made a gift will be rewarded. Fraternities and sororities are divided into separate categories, with three prizes awarded to each category. This funding can be used however the organizations choose.

  • 1st place receives $5,000
  • 2nd place receives $2,500
  • 3rd place receives $1,000

All gifts made by Greek alumni to the current Roll Call count, even if they gave before the Challenge was announced. Participation rates are based upon fraternity/sorority affiliation noted in our database.

Greek organizations are ordered by participation.    If you want to participate and help TKE Beta-Pi win some of that money, you can contribute on-line at

Tekes Featured in Georgia Tech Alumni Magazine

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

The Georgia Tech Alumni Magazine claims:  ”The members of the notorious Committee of Five, a brazen band of fraternity brothers who, fueled by a “two-kegger night,” stole the whistle in late August 1978, have never been unmasked. Until now.”

Committee of Five Culprits Finally Come Forward

Well, some of us have know about it for a long time, especially if you’ve paid attention to the walls at the Teke House!

The Committee of Five

Congratulations, fraters, for finally being recognized for one of the most amazing stunts ever pulled at (on?) Georgia Tech!
