About TKE

TKE Beta-Pi HouseWelcome to the Beta Pi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Our chapter is located in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus and has been active and involved since 1948. TKE participates and consistently ranks among the top organizations in intramurals, homecoming, greekweek, philanthropy events, and many other campus events.

Some recent accomplishments of the chapter include:

  • 2014 Greek Week Champions
  • 3rd Place: 2013 Georgia Tech Homecoming
  • 1st place in Tug for 15 of last 18 years
  • GPA of 3.3 Spring Semester 2014, Ranking 5th among all fraternities
  • Over $15,000 raised for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, one of the leading organizations in childhood cancer research.

The TKE vision is to create lifelong relationships that enhance educational, interpersonal, community and professional success. The TKE Mission is “to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life.”

The full declaration of principles of TKE, which has remained unchanged since it was set forth by Frater William Wilson in 1907 is given on the TKE National website. Within it, the three cardinal virtues of our fraternity are presented:

  • Love, that binds our hearts with the sturdy chords of fraternal affection.
  • Charity, that is impulsive to see the virtues in a brother and is slow to reprove his faults.
  • Esteem, that is respectful of the honest convictions of others and that refrains from treading upon that which is sacred to spirit and conscience.

At TKE, we pride ourselves on our diversity, academics, and strive for success.
