TKE Brothers shaving their heads for St. Baldricks

This year, the Georgia Tech chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon is participating in a nationwide philanthropy event sponsored by St. Baldrick’s Foundation for childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick’s funds more childhood cancer research grants than any other organization, second only to the government. Last year, the Beta Pi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Georgia Tech participated in this event and raised $15,845.

At this event, volunteers have their heads shaved to show support for kids who usually lose their hair due to cancer treatments, and each “shavee” receives donations to support their dedication. This year, Tau Kappa Epsilon is looking to be the top team at our event and raise over $18,000!
