Dennis Murray promoted at Red Bull

Frater Dennis Murray has been promoted to Category Development Manager at Red Bull. Murray will play an important role in building, developing and maintaining credible, long term relationships with Red Bull’s retail partners. In addition, he will support the National and Regional Account Sales Team, and apply his insights and expertise to identify opportunities for them to grow Red Bull sales and market share.

Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987. About 4.5 billion cans are sold each year. In 2011, Red Bull earned around EUR 4.2 billion in worldwide sales and was available in 164 countries globally.

The company’s marketing campaign include involvement with numerous activities associated primarily with young men, including extreme sports like mountain biking, BMX, motocross, windsurfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, kayaking, wakeboarding, cliff-diving, surfing, skating, freestyle motocross, rally, Formula 1 racing, and breakdancing. They also market through art shows, music, and video games. Red Bull also owns association football teams, with clubs in Austria, Germany, the United States and Brazil featuring the Red Bull trademark in their names.
